These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ProjecBot, a digital platform operated by Appecable Tech ("Appecable Tech", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, purchasing a service, generating a document, participating in an Affiliate or Accountant Programme, or otherwise using ProjecBot, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
ProjecBot is a technology platform that provides tools for generating financial projections, cashflow statements and related business documents.
The platform may use automated systems, algorithms and artificial intelligence to assist with document generation, calculations, formatting and other functionality.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Appecable Tech is not an accounting firm, audit firm, law firm, financial institution, tax adviser or investment adviser.
Documents generated automatically by ProjecBot must not be represented as audited financial statements or as having been prepared or certified by a Chartered Accountant unless the applicable Accountant Verification process has been completed.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must provide accurate and current information when creating or using an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
- We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, a violation of these Terms, or activity creating legal or security risk.
3. User Information & Document Accuracy
Documents generated through ProjecBot are based substantially on information supplied by the user and calculations or assumptions derived from that information.
You are responsible for:
- providing complete and accurate information;
- reviewing generated projections before relying on them;
- ensuring assumptions reasonably reflect your business;
- correcting information that is inaccurate or outdated; and
- determining whether a generated document is appropriate for its intended purpose.
4. Accountant Verification
Where Accountant Verification is purchased, an eligible document may be assigned to an independent accountant participating in the ProjecBot Accountant Programme.
The assigned accountant may review the document and:
- approve and digitally sign it;
- request corrections or additional information; or
- reject the document.
An Accountant Verified document may contain the reviewing accountant's name, professional designation, registration or ICAJ information, electronic signature, professional stamp, review date and verification information.
The accountant's Government-issued identification and other private verification records are not displayed on customer documents.
Payment for Accountant Verification does not mean that a document has been certified. Certification occurs only after an assigned accountant completes the review and expressly approves the document.
Appecable Tech provides the technology through which the review is facilitated but does not itself perform the accountant's professional review.
5. Independent Accountants
Accountants participating on ProjecBot operate as independent professionals and are not employees of Appecable Tech solely because they participate in the Accountant Programme.
Accountants are responsible for maintaining any professional registrations, qualifications or authorizations required for the services they perform.
Appecable Tech may require identity information, professional registration information, a signature specimen, stamp image and supporting documentation before approving an Accountant Programme application.
We may suspend or terminate an accountant's participation if credentials expire, cannot be verified, are misused, or if the accountant violates programme requirements.
6. Electronic Signatures & Documents
Where supported by the platform, users and participating accountants consent to the use of electronic records, electronic approvals and electronic signatures.
An accountant who activates Approve & Sign authorizes ProjecBot to apply the accountant's previously approved signature and stamp credentials to the specific document being approved.
- Accountants must not permit another person to use their account, signature, professional stamp or credentials.
- Each verified document may contain a unique verification identifier, token or QR code.
- Modification of a signed document outside the platform may invalidate its verification status.
7. Payments
Prices applicable to a service will be displayed before checkout.
- Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors.
- Payment information handled directly by a payment processor is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
- Charges are processed in the currency shown on the payment page.
- Payment must be successfully completed before access to paid document-generation functionality or paid add-on services is granted.
8. Refunds
Because ProjecBot provides digital services that may be generated or made available immediately after payment, refunds are considered according to the status of the service purchased.
- A completed and delivered digital document is generally non-refundable once the paid service has been substantially performed, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- Accountant Verification fees are generally non-refundable after an accountant has completed the review and approved or signed the document.
- If a paid service cannot be provided because of a verified technical failure attributable to ProjecBot, the customer should contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
- Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Jamaican consumer protection law.
9. Affiliate Programme
Approved Affiliates may receive a unique Affiliate ID or referral code.
- Affiliate earnings are generated only from transactions that satisfy applicable programme requirements and are successfully attributed to the Affiliate.
- Referral or commission amounts displayed as pending are not considered paid until withdrawal processing has been completed.
- We may investigate, withhold or reverse commissions associated with refunded, fraudulent, duplicated, manipulated or otherwise invalid transactions.
- Affiliates must not misrepresent ProjecBot, make unauthorized financial guarantees, impersonate Appecable Tech, or use deceptive methods to obtain referrals.
10. Withdrawals
Eligible Affiliate and Accountant earnings may be withdrawn using the withdrawal functionality provided by ProjecBot.
- Users must provide accurate bank and account information.
- Withdrawal requests may be subject to review before payment.
- Processing times may vary because of banking procedures, compliance reviews, holidays, system availability or other circumstances outside our direct control.
- Appecable Tech is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect payment information supplied by the user.
11. Disputes
Users may submit transaction, commission or withdrawal disputes through available platform functionality or by contacting support.
We may request supporting information before resolving a dispute. Submitting a dispute does not guarantee that the disputed transaction will be reversed or paid.
Where appropriate, we may communicate with the relevant customer, Affiliate, accountant, payment processor or other service provider when investigating a dispute.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- use ProjecBot for unlawful or fraudulent activity;
- submit deliberately false financial information;
- alter or forge Accountant Verified documents;
- misuse another person's signature, stamp or professional credentials;
- attempt to bypass authentication, payment or verification systems;
- interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
- access another user's account or documents without authorization; or
- falsely represent an automatically generated document as audited, certified or accountant-approved.
We may suspend or terminate access where these requirements are violated.
13. Intellectual Property
The ProjecBot software, interfaces, branding, document templates, platform design and associated technology are owned by or licensed to Appecable Tech and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Customers may use documents legitimately generated and purchased through their accounts for their intended personal or business purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of the underlying software, templates or platform technology.
14. Third-Party Services
ProjecBot may depend on third-party providers for services including payments, authentication, cloud hosting, storage, email, messaging and other technical functionality.
Temporary interruption or failure of a third-party service may affect platform availability. Third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Jamaican data-protection requirements.
Information processed may include account information, business information, transaction records, generated financial information, referral information and, where applicable, Accountant Programme verification credentials.
Additional information about collection, use, storage, disclosure and individual privacy rights is provided in the ProjecBot Privacy Policy.
16. No Guarantee of Third-Party Acceptance
Appecable Tech does not control banks, lenders, government departments, regulators, investors or other institutions.
We therefore do not guarantee that any third party will:
- approve an account or application;
- grant financing;
- accept a particular document;
- accept a financial projection or assumption; or
- make a particular commercial or regulatory decision.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Appecable Tech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of ProjecBot, including business losses resulting from decisions made by banks, lenders, regulators or other third parties.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Service Availability & Changes
We may modify, improve, replace or discontinue platform functionality as ProjecBot develops.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security incidents, upgrades or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption to paid services.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to ProjecBot, law, security requirements or business operations.
The revised Terms will display an updated effective date. Where a change materially affects existing users, we may provide additional notice through the platform, website, email or another appropriate method.
Continued use of ProjecBot after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
Before commencing formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact Appecable Tech so that the parties can attempt to resolve the matter directly.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising rights or pursuing remedies available under applicable Jamaican law.
